What to visit - St Michaels Cave, some 1000ft above sea level this cave is now used for concerts and ballet. The Ape's Den, home of the famous Barbery Apes, the only wild primates in Europe. Take the cable car to the top of the rock. The Bay of Gibraltar is home to a large population of whales and dolphins. Birdwatching in spring and autumn when thousands of migrating birds stop off enroute to their breeding grounds and wintering areas.
