Uganda has much to offer to so many different types of holiday maker. To the tourists looking to relax and have a good relaxing trip, Uganda’s capital, Kampala, is a diamond in the rough, with a strong infrastructure and many tourist attractions, such as casinos, nightclubs and up-market restaurants.
However, Uganda also has much scenic beauty and attention-grabbing wildlife, appealing to those more Safari-minded holiday makers. Home to beautiful mountain ranges ideal for trekking and catching a view of the famous Ugandan Mountain Gorillas, as well as the new Bwindi National Park, Uganda has clear Safari appeal.
The best time to visit Uganda is either January to Febuary, the dry, hot season, or the June to September period, just after the rains. Outside these timeframes, trekking is near impossible.
